• 1-3+ years of commercial fiber splicing experience
• Able to independently splice, install, test, and troubleshoot fiber
• Ability to read prints, splice matrices, and cable pathways
Open to night shift, 12-hour shifts, and overtime
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Data Center experience
• OTDR experience
• OSHA 10 certification
• CPR, man lift, or DOT eligibility
Job Description
: Insight Global is seeking a Fiber Optic Splicer Tech for a top telecommunications infrastructure client supporting mission-critical data center fiber deployments. This candidate will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for complex fiber splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and high-count fiber work.
Day-to-Day:
• Perform advanced fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting
• Execute complex high-count fiber work, relocations, and hot cuts
• Lead and train Level I and II technicians
• Drive quality, productivity, and safety across assigned work
